The Rheem Thermal RTHP residential pool heat pump series are a premium product “manufactured in Australia”. The Rheem Thermal pool & spa heat pump range is unrivalled in terms of quality. The design is simply a scaled down version of the large Rheem Thermal commercial heat pumps which are specified into Australia’s major aquatic centre projects, with the use of the identical commercial components.
The residential range extends from 9kW to 60kW nominal heating capacity, single or three phase options, reverse cycle defrost or hot gas injection.
The RTHP Series includes two premium options, the RTHP026 and RTHP030. These units include an increased evaporator area to provide high efficiency particularly at low ambient temperatures. The large evaporator reduces the pressure of air movement making the unit a low noise design, with a metered level of 51dBa at 3mtrs and includes the exclusive Rheem IQ® controllers.
It represents the culmination of 25 years development by Rheem Thermal engineers in heat pump development and design. It is extremely quiet and is the perfect option for Tasmanian suburban backyards.

Your Rheem Thermal pool heat pump now includes the exclusive Rheem IQ® advanced intelligent controller. The heater is intuitive and has the ability to manipulate both its run hours and the pool temperature by time-of-day and day-of-the-week to minimise heating costs, with an inbuilt understanding of the structure of Australian-market electricity pricing. The heat pump is provided ready for plug-and-play connection to the new Rheem IQ® Link DPi digital pump interface, maximising the overall energy efficiency of the total pool heating system, including both the water flow pump and chlorinator.

Advanced diagnostics

Rheem IQ® provides much more than a fully integrated energy efficient approach to heating of your pool or spa. Rheem IQ® aids the perfect set-up of your heater by displaying both the entering and leaving water temperatures. It provides self-diagnostic control, monitoring performance and safety. The on-board service module provides a log of operation and fault history to aid quick service diagnosis.
